yeah, I was wondering about that. what does SE mean, both in terms of name and card spec?
It means "half-the-memory-interface-width" so in the case of the 9200/9600 you get a 64bit link and with the 9800 you get a 128bit link (although I hear 256bit ones do exist they are flukes). In most/all cases the clock speeds will be dropped too

so when faced with the choice of a 9800 pro at 200GBP or that 9800se at 50GBP...which would you choose?
Depends on how much 150GBP is to you ... its a shitload to me (9800Pros can be found for 200CAD here)

low enough to have to use ebay, lol
