Worth it?

The only thing that I am a bit worried about with the older IPS panels is the ghosting problem. I think that I found that there was a bad panel with that series and I'm guessing that is what was serviced in the warranty. Otherwise I can't see why a high end monitor like that wouldn't be able to handle gaming or movies at 60 FPS.
 
2405 here isnt ghosting at all to me...its IPS, i dont think you will have any complaints. Id grab the dell as their built like tanks...my only issue im having is my monitor bleeds a little yellow from the CFL, but nothing to really complain about as its only visible on pure white colors.
 
I figure that anything is a big improvement from the monitors that I am currently using. I think he has it set up and will let me test it before using it so I'll be going there tomorrow I'll be checking if there is any bad performance in movies or games.

Look it over good, 2-3 times to be sure. It will be an amazing monitor, especially for the price. Good find, and GL!
 
So I bought it today. It looks amazing on my desk. Too bad I can't use it because I forgot to take the right DVI cable from the sellers house :'(
 
I picked up the cable today. Probably the best upgrade that I have made in quite a while. I love it. I'll have pictures posted in other threads when I find the time for it.
 
cool, thats one of the monitors id love to get my hands on...but will probably end up with a 27 WFP when the time comes...oh mercy me...
