considering going from my 2900+ to a mobile 2500+ with a 266MHz FSB..
i was thinking it would be a good idea as 2500+'s have unlocked multipliers and use low voltage... my buddy got his all the way up to 2.5GHz at 400MHz FSB i believe is what it was
are you buying it from him? i wouldnt suggest paying much money for it, but if your just switching, and you say that it has an unlocked multiplier, then i guess i would, as long as you think you can get a better OC out of it.
Dont they work on a 940 pin instead of a 939? so you would have to get a new mobo als.[Not positive if im right, thats why the "?" is there, so dont go and ----- if im wrong]
the Mobile Barton was a great overclocker, but has you mate oc'd it much already?
You could get some of the XP-M bartons 2500+ to 2.7ghz on air cooling
