Is it worth to buy a 50 - 60$ graphic card and a $20 counter strike source game.


for my other computer thatll be used when friends come over and stuff

I still say buy the $50 x700PRO, since it's really cheap for the price.

And yes, I think CSS is worth $20.
 
counter strike is cheap

i don't think i paid more than $20 for it alone at compusa a year or two ago

the offline part of the game is small, it's basically just a cheap half-life engine for online play
 
Stuff adds up
i would waste $70 on a card and a game which i already own.
and it would be installed, and used every now and then.
not even once a week.


It would be a waste, now why did i make a thread, i realized that it would go off topic and id get flamed.
 
Nope, not worth the money (the CSS part). Get your friend to buy CSS, i mean he's the one playing it, then just load it onto the computer and have him log into his steam account.

Were talking about source here, not the original.

And yes it's basically a mod for the Half-life 2 game, but it's very popular, and is a great game.
