Would also like some help with a build

At first i didn't want to spend over 500, but i figured i'd up it to about $800ish now, and i'm not the best at setting up builds, so if anyone could possibly help me out, it'd be awesome.

I'm going to gear the computer more towards gaming and such, so any help would be awesome.

Not at the moment, no. I'm going to eventually probably get a 22 inch widescreen Dell LCD, but that'll come way later, i have everything i need to get setup as of right now, just looking for the tower and everything in it. :]

I've always been an AMD type guy, they've just always seemed to have been my preffered brand. I'd probably like to stay on the AMD route, but if i can find a deal with intel that is a better bang for the buck, then i'm willing to take it heh.

thanks for any replies. :]

Awesome, thanks guys.

Also, what would you all say is the best type of RAM out there? I've always thought corsair but only because it was just what i was told to always get.

Is corsair the best company?

hard to say who the best is...corsair..mushkin..patriot..all good reliable brands im sure there's a couple i failed to mention but you get the idea

I have seen G.Skill being used in quite a number of builds here... because of the lower price compared to Corsair, Mushkin, Patriot, etc... not sure about the quality though as I have no direct experience of using it...

Yeah, nice call on the XMS2, good stuff there. I saw some in the paper(Fry's) at a reasonable price. Probobly better in the long run.

G skill isn't terrible its better to go with a well trusted name brand though in my opinion but if you're short on cash beggars can't be choosers. I wouldn't buy any RAM that didn't have a recommended use of high performance or gaming.

Awesome, thanks guys. Would i be able to play next-gen games smoothly with that rig? if not, what would i need to improve?
