well.. i saw this one, (sold on a 2nd hand site in the netherlands.) for 600 euro's.. would it be a good buy for the money, or is it expensive?

They might have good performance but they are not reliable. I heard a lot of complaints about Alienware notebooks.

If you wanted to have it sit somewhere plugged in all the time it's good but I wouldn't want use it as a travelling machine.

Yeah, power hogs. Plus, with their recent acquisition by Dell, I'm not sure that any of the previous general beliefs about Alienware is believable anymore... (not sure how old this notebook is...)
