Would it work?

Ok I have an HP thats a few years old. It has a 1.6Ghz P4. I have some extra parts laying around like a video card, sound card, PSU, memory. Would it work if I used all new parts but still use the CPU, mobo, and HDD?

Depends on whether your motherboard can support them. You should be able to use the sound card for sure though.
