Would it work?

Other than how this machine would run, is the 680i and the E6750 both good OCing hardware?
Would I need more or better RAM?

I'm mostly exploring this because if the offer arises to sell my current newly-built computer (people say I'm crazy for wanting more) then I might consider this build.

Your crazy for wanting to spend more money :P

Oh, i know little to nothing about water cooling so... yeah my post is useless :D

I don't know much about water cooling. However, I don't think your PC will really hot unless you prepare to overclock a lot. I would rather invest on a better GPU than a water cooling system

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz (would be massively overclocked):

I do plan on overclocking it a lot. I think I will change the GPU to the 8800GTS. I think when the new 8800GT series comes out in November (?).

If I got the cooler for the GPU, I'd probably OC the card as well.

It would be a overclockable machine, since yours is so new i would wait for the new intel/amd quads and see some price drops there... (november-january)

I think we all build lots of dream computers when we are bored, but we don't really need to see what is the fastest computer in your opinion. It'd probably be good if you kept these super builds that you are not planning on building to yourself.

lol jk kinda.
How serious are you about this whole rebuilding thing?
You seem to talk about it alot.

How much is that one total? (too lazy to add :P )

EDIT: Also maybe wait a little for PCI-e 2.0 and maybe the new intel chips...idk depends on your timeframe...course i guess new stuff will always be right around the corner.

Doesnt the case come with a gpu water cooler thing (the 28$ thing)? I dont know much about water cooling, are the stock ones bad?
