Get a socket 939 Athlon 64 3000+ (Venice) if you want performance at a tight budget: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103537 You could also got the socket 754 way and get a S754 A64 3000+ (Venice) for $20 less. Nope The motherboard is Socket939 while your CPU is socket 754.
