Would this be a good gaming rig?

Looks great exept i would change the following.

Cpu fan.....that one you choose doesnt look very good quality, infact i would expect it to be worser than the stock Intel fan :o

i know its more but i think you would definatly be better purchasing a better fan

ThermalTake Golden Orb II / Socket 939/754/775 / Copper Core / CPU Cooling Fan 45 Users Rated

OR

OCZ / Vindicator / Socket 754/939/940/AM2/775 / Copper Core / CPU Cooler

Also Is the 8800GT that much more than the 9600gt Where you live?

Actually I was looking at the EVGA GeForce 8800GT and think it would be a better buy.

yeah they are but i doubt you could pick one up,especialy a 4870 for the price of a 8800GT?

So do I. But I'm a bit of a fanboy, what can you do ;)? Also, (to me, anyways) it just seemed kinda weird that someone would get a 45nm quad for a gaming rig and pair it with a mid-range graphics card...
