Would this be a tough good Hard drive to keep under bed with files on?

I want a HDD to put all my photos and videos etc on put under bed and expect it to work when plug in two three four years later. Is this a good one?

Just because it says tough doesn't mean that will last not plugged in for years at a time. Been many of people say the last time an external drive was plugged in it worked great but a year or 2 later and system won't detect it. Anything can happen while drive is not being used. To be safe, I would use multiple media, such as dvd's.

Nothing about that drive looks tough.

I'd get a flash drive and blend your backup scheme with cloud storage or similar.

Depending what your internet connection is like and how much data you want to store then cloud storage would be a better option. Or perhaps some kind of flash memory like a USB drive or an SSD like suggested above.
