I plan to get computers parts and make a gateway computer for gaming with windows xp. Please help me with ideas and stuff like that.

Slot 1 was the way to hook up Pentium 2 and were phased out during the days Pentium 3. I don’t think you can find any parts in those IBM's to make any modern day Gamming computer.

The case would be coolio to have a killer gaming system in (kinda like a sleeper) but no, if you're planning on acutally using the included equipment, don't buy it. The motherboard uses the old slot 1 interface.

If he's building a server (which he's not) he could use the slot 1 board and buy a Xeon or the like (they also come in slot 2 variety though, so you gotta make sure you get the right one and make sure the board can handle it). Like said though, that wouldn't make the best of a gaming machine.

Depends

First of all you probably just want it for the case right. So if you do you would first have to make sure that another board could even fit in it cause some companys like that only want their stuff in their case. This just depends on personal preference.

# Notes:
# Somes systems may be desktop, tower or mini-tower
# Systems may be missing faceplates
# Systems may have surface scratches
# Pictures are for representational purposes only
# Motherboard chipsets may vary

But if your not picky I guess It would be a good case. I've seen one at my school that belongs to my teacher and I thought it would be cool to build a computer with a case like that. Perosnally I would take the case It's just 12 bucks
