Would this pc be any good?

My computer in my sig I built myself but the harddrives were old from other computers before and starting to make ticking sounds and loud noises on and off so looking at starting new.

I'm wondering if this store custom built pc would be good - Mainly going to be using for photography and the occasional new game that peaks my interest. I will probably do some custom changes later on but wondering if this would be a good start baseline?

what programs are you going to be using for the editing? if they are programs like adobe, or anything that supports cuda then id say get a graphics card from nvidia, instead of the amd you have in that pc you linked. other than that, be sure to get a power suuply from a good manufacture, like seasonic, xfx, pc power cooling, corsair..ect ect. id say that you should deffinatly not get any less than 8 gigs of ram, but the cpu, and ssd/hd setup looks good. blue ray?...

i know that they are going to skimp out on a good psu, so if you canchange it out for something that is from a good brand, then do it. im also not sure what motherboard is in it. i know that you could build one for less with better things and higher quality.
 
Mainly Lightroom. I do have a table/netbook that i have ps cs5 on but don't do much on it. Lightroom is my main editing program.

Don't need blueray as I don't use it yet. Not going to be burning any until discs come down and got ps3 for watching.

Could change psu in it. Can change for good brand.

I understand could build cheaper for price but would like to get one made (would never go brand name but this is from a computer store custom made style by them) so i can start getting files off current computer before it complete goes as not sure how much longer hdds will last.

So if parts look ok and i just swap psu.
 
Yeah just because your HDD is screwed doesn't mean you have to buy a whole new computer. If you were going to be doing some editing I'd say 8GB ram, minimum. You might also want to get a new graphics card. Also a new PSU to run it all nicely. Depends how much Watts you want. I'd say 550-600 would be enough.

I don't know much about Graphics Cards so ask someone else about that one :P.
