Im looking to invest in a new motherboard, memory, graphics card and processor would this combo work?

  1. Mushkin 2GB DDR EM3200 Enhanced Performance Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB) CAS3
  2. XFX GeForce 7800GT Extreme LED Edition 256MB
  3. Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe AMD Socket 939
  4. AMD (San Diego) Athlon FX57 939Pin 1mb L2cache Retail Boxed

all comments would be hugely appreciated

does the motherboard natively support the AMD FX series?

If it does, then it looks good to me.

Also does cas latency make much difference in the memory:confused: because he same type of memory with cas2 was more expensive. im building my machine as a gaming rig would it make a big, noticable difference?
p.s if it doesent i think ill stick with what i got at the top of the page:D

yes cas latency does make big difference. if you have the money get the cas 2 it will be faster. you will have faster load times and timings.
