I looked at Praetor's "Computer Specs 101" sticky and pretty much used everything that was suggested for the budget<1200USD work machines, but a few of the links didn't work so I found some parts that I thought might work but I wasn't sure so I wanted to see if anyone could help

I think you should get a better video card. I would go with a 6800gt, or if you have the extra cash to spare go with the 7800gt or 7900gt.
