Would x2 3800+ be bottleneck for 8800gts?

Hello!

I was wondering if it would be worth getting 8800gts for my computer. I was orignally thinking of upgrading only to a 7900gs because my psu can only handle that much. If i upgrade to 8800gts later on, then i would need to upgrade my psu so the costs add up. So would my cpu be holding back 8800gts by a lot?

Nah, I doubt it'll bottleneck it much. The x2 3800+ was a great processor, of course it's not as powerful as the newer ones, but it should do find.

As far as gaming goes, my x2 3800+ runs great, doesn't bottle neck at all.
