WoW advice,buy battlechest,single,or Download?

We got my son a laptop for xmas and one of the things he really wanted to do was play world of warcraft,so I was going to get it but I see there is a bunch of games and expansions. I read you need the base game to use the latest expansions,So my question is do I just buy the triple expansion battlechest,Or just the single base game and go from there,or is it just cheaper and easier to Download from the web? What do you recommend,Thanks!

If he's never played it, start with the battlechest. No sense in buying all the expansions if he isn't going to play it enough to use them.

Would wait till christmas, they've had the chest on sale for like 5 bucks i think several times lately

Yea I remember seeing it for 5 bux at gamestop for black friday,but nothing lately. If anyone see's that special let me know. Thanks!

I saw it before then too i think, wouldnt hold my breath for any black friday deals to come back though

warcraft is a massive game - it will take him at least a month to get through the very first game alone. if hes playing with friends its a different story though as he'll be limited without expansions.
