wow dell

I hate Dell desktops, mainly cause my friend has one and he can't even upgrade his RAM.:P I love my Dell laptop though, Laptops aren't upgradable anyway:P
 
Just because it booted normally doesn't mean the memory is good. I have 2 bad sticks of G Skills memory. Ran fine! But gave me tons of BSODs and HDD errors :confused:

Anyways, I say Memtest86 the memory.
 
Well I have a dell laptop and obviously laptops aren't meant to be upgrade like a pc. So I decided to get sufficient components to last a while.

Though I've never tried to build my own laptop, it seems complicated I guess.

But yeah, I prefer building my own than buying a prebuilt.
 
my sister has a dell laptop and she hasnt had any trouble with that. although i still wouldnt buy a dell mainly cos i would want a desktop and they seem to have gotten bad reviews. our first computer was an HP and that was a major screw up lol.
 
I would rather build my own computer. Second rig on my signature is my own pc but I dont have the required money to get the things i want lol

And I have to agree on that part too. Inspiron 1200 after a big beating still runs like new. Heck, even the hinges work like brand new! And it's around 3 years old :) Nothing replaced. Runs cool and fast.

Dell may be overpriced, but their parts are usually trustworthy and great.
