WOW or Warhammer

they both seem, to me at least, about the same thing. if you beg to differ, post screenshots and ideas about what you like better.

so basically, what one is worth the money every month.

I'm a WoW fan... quit because I simply can't pay the money anymore. WoW is more focused on PvE and Warhammer is more into PvP... so it's your choice.

I played WoW for many years, was a great game and I loved it a lot, they had me well and truly hooked. Haven't played Warhammer Online, it's meant to be a good game though.

It might be worth getting a hold of a WoW trial and giving it a go, if you don't like it maybe look into warhammer?

Dont do it you will get hooked for life lol

nah ive never tried either of them but i hear they become very addictive and thats not good with WOW keep having to pay out.

You have to pay the monthly fee with Warhammer as well

yeah thats why i posted this, im trying to figure out what more people play and what ones more worth the money because i thought the wow trial was fun but i havent tried warhammer yet

More people play WoW hands down... Blizzard offers a free 10-day trial of WoW from their website if I remember correctly so you can download it and try it out. Or the trials are available in many stores on DVD for like $1 or something.

Yep if you buy the trial, it's 99 cents in stores such as Walmart. Hell they may even have them at QuickTrip :P

On the other hand, Warhammer charges for the trial, I think that's messed up.

I have some Warhammer friend trials, let me know if you want to try it.

Warhammer just hasn't released a demo for everyone yet. They released the refer-a-friend a few months ago, and they've been going like hotcakes.

neither, mmos are for nubs.
(just an opinion I don't mean for it to be taken personally)

I think it's more for the hardcore genre of gamers.. The ones willing to pay a monthly fee for a game, play a certain amount of time to achieve certain things. It's not for everyone.

if you are just jumping it it for the first time, i'd suggest warhammer. WoW is tons of fun, don't get me wrong, but it has been around so long that everyone who plays it is doing endgame stuff. blizzard is only releasing things that cater to the players who have been around awhile. warhammer on the other hand, is still relatively new and will be a better environment for a new player to get involved with.

yeah, warhammer and wow seem to be the only mmo's that i might be willing to pay for once im working but other than that AOC was extremely dumb and i didnt like it at all.

i play WoW and it is brilliant. I have tried several other MMORPG games, Warhammer, Age of Conan, Guild Wars, etc etc...none even come close to warcraft.

You can buy just the original warcraft, no expansions, for $10 or something and you get a month free with that, so you could try that and see how you like it for a month.

World of Warcraft may focus on PvE, but their PvP system is pretty good as well. The battleground system is pretty smart when it comes down to brass tacks. Warhammer definitely takes the cake graphics wise. Personally though I'd pick World of Warcraft solely on the player base. Until Warhammer tops 11 million people, WoW will be my favored game of the two. MMOs should have a lot of people, I'm sure Warhammer has a few who play, but not 11 milllion.
