wow runs slow on acer 5100

I thought it would be faster... sometimes its fine but then starts going slow frame by frame
Do you think this is a processor speed or ram problem?

turion 64x2
ati radeon express 1100
1gb of ram

What settings do you run it on? That's not a very powerful machine. Neither the CPU or the RAM are very good, or the GPU, for that matter.

look through the task manager, see how many bytes of memory are unused, how many percentage CPU is using? then you will figure out the performance is normal or not. in addition, do some optimization and disable some startup applications with the command "MSCONFIG" . it may make it faster.
