Wow, there may be some truth in Win10 collecting personal info

I had a flicker Account over 8 years ago and I dropped it when they started charging for storing photos. I thought I deleted all of the few photos I had, but then just a little while ago an old photo showed up in a new tab tile from Flicker. I have had at least 3 completely new computers since then and I have not logged onto flicker for anything since then. I don’t even remember the old email address or the password, but it automatically logged me in and then changed my email along with the password to my current one.

The only thing that has changed is that I upgraded to Win10. How the hell did this happen and how do I stop this?

I figured it out and it wasn't Window 10. I forgot that I've been using the Yahoo search engine and I guess Yahoo is associated with Flicker. I don't know exactly how or when Yahoo became my default, but I just never got around to changing it. The weird thing is that Flicker says i have 6 photos and they are definitely mine, but I cannot do anything with them nor delete them. Its almost like a screenshot copy of what my opening page looked like 8 years ago and nothing else. I don't don't know why Flicker would keep something like that for 8 years without the actual photos in the folder.

Anyway I guess this thread is posted is in the wrong forum since its NOT an OS topic and I don't know what to do with it. It probably should be moved or deleted.
