I'm in a lot of PC building Facebook groups and I follow a lot of PC websites on Twitter so I just come across the latest information by simply going on social media.

The author of the article writes: "It’s a Windows 10 world and we’re living in it—whether we like it or not." If you want to just lay down and take the crap from Microsoft then this statement is true. Linux Mint and Ubuntu are great alternative operating systems now.

I also read somebody has hacked the code already that removes the block of Windows updates for Windows 7. I am likely going to just use Linux Mint for my Internet and word processing. Windows 7 will be my gaming operating system until likely around 2024 until I find an alternative for that.

They're asking for trouble and most websites/browsers don't work anymore. If you're careful online they're still somewhat usable sure but support ending certainly complicates things.
