WPA Encryption

Hi

Not sure if this is in the right section , but here goes.

Just changed router from WEP to WPA encryption. Problem is that netbook wont connect any more, main pc ok as its not wireless. Does any one know what to change on netbook to get it to connect again. Its runs windows 7 starter edition. I know I will have to put the new code in but where, or is it not that simple.

It should recognise WPA, but it may not so you MAY have to go back to WEP.

Before that though, click and bring up the available connections (bottom right), yours should have a red cross on it indicating that the security is wrong.

RIGHT click and select properties, change the wireless settings and click OK.
 
Did you enter a different security key when reconnecting? You can't use the same key.
