WPS file conversion

I have been e-mailed a wps file which as I don't have Works I cannot open.

Can anyone please explain how, or indeed if, I can convert it to open in either WORD or Open Office, with or without additional software?

I have looked at a couple of alleged solutions on the net but neither work.

Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Unfortunately it refuses to open and no more success than with my previous efforts. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but no matter how I approach the problem it persists.

Hi, john35

Tried as you suggested but it won't work! Tells me I need a convertor which isn't on the computer then when I say get on with it it tells it should be on the XP disk. Frankly I have neither the time nor patience to waste more effort on this.

But thanks for your help anyway.

However, it seems that there is a wait time involved with this site. Who knows how long that will be. Usually you are wanting to continue working on it. You don't want to have to upload it and wait for a day to get it back.

You get it within a few minutes, depending on how large the file is. I've used it several times and usually it's e-mailed to me within 1-2 minutes.
