wrong videocard

Hi!
I have a problem.
My pc can't find my videocard.
so instead, my monitor runs on the videochip of my motherboard with an HDMI cable (wich is connected through the back of my pc instead of through the videocard).
It has always worked but since 3 days ago this problem suddenly occured.

If I connect my pc with my monitor through the videocard i get a black screen.

I've installed the newest driver but it had no use.

I have the Nvidia Geforce 8800GT, but dxdiag and device manager now day i use the Geforce 7100/nForce 630i (wich is the motherboard videochip).

can anyone help me fix the problem so I can use my videocard again?
 
Either your video card is dead, which is why it won't show in device manager or you can try to reseat it back its in slot to see if it will get recognized that. Does the card require extra power connection from the power supply? Is it connected?
