WTF!!!! Error tells me to open what im trying to open!

this is the screenshot. I was going to try a "restore" and i didn;t know where it was anymore since i forgot. So i was going to check and see if it was in Help and Support in the start menu....

and yes tht is my backround, and yes i have random icons in the middle LOL


btw i was trying restore on the slight possibilty it would fix my sound.
 
its because its most likely disabled in msconfig, take a look at the screen shot. You have a choice if you want to have it run or not, there really isnt anything funny about that.

yah, when it says that you nee to start the service, it doesnt mean that you need to try to run the Help and Support "program". You need to enable the service in windows services.

This can be found/changed by either going into control panel and going through admin utilities or by START - RUN - msconfig, SERVICES tab. as shown in geoffs screenshot.

lol, i just didnt seem to get what you were laughing about, now if it said something like this "Cannot start help and support, for more information please run Help and support.", that would be hilarious.

What i said or what the threads about?

The threads simply about the help and support service not running, so its asking you to start it.
 
lol, we've managed to confuse nearly everyone now, try stopping it and then starting it again, and change the start up type to automatic, not manual.
 
Hey geoff5093, how do you get that blue tint on your windows, is that XP or Vista? And Xycron too, you have a funky style!

its a theme for windowsblinds, its pretty cool. The bars are slightly transparent, so pretty much any background looks like it matches :)

Its a defualt in windowblinds, so all you have to do is download it and search for the theme in the list.
