Wtf is Stdrt.exe?

The past few days I've noticed my RAM usage at nearly 80%, big wtf there. I'll restart my computer an it would be fine for a while - then it would boost back up like that randomly, this has only happened twice. Pulled up the task manager and this Stdrt.exe was the running the most usage, at 500,000 K - so I ended up the process, opened the file location an it was in some Temp folder of some sort and deleted it. The icon of the file was the Windows icon, though, and every file in that folder had a lock sign next to it. No clue what it was.
 
Looks like it could be malware according to this site and a few others.

Do the following.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If you continue to experience problems after doing this, please post a HijackThis log by doing the following:

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log
 
So basically somebody put a backdoor in my computer so they can have access to it whenever they'd like?

I removed the file an the whole folder associated with it, and the thing recreated it after a few restarts and was blowing up my RAM again. I ran Malwarebytes and it removed something, but nothing relating to that thing. This is not cool.

It wouldn't hurt to run Ccleaner to delete your temp files and such as well.
 
I run Ccleaner all the time.

I had the 1st one, but it said it was related to Adobe Premiere, but deleted it anyways - 2nd one I didn't have, I believe that's the folder I deleted before though and it recreated itself.
