my computer used to play games flawlessly and now about every 10 seconds it has a hardcore freeze up. everything else works fine. i tried unpluging my video card and pluging it back in no change, scaned for spyware, malware, virsues, trojans, everything any ideas?
 
Have you checked the temps? Make sure that all of the fans are working, and clean out all the dust from the CPU and video card heatsinks.

ya temps are all good, ill try cleaning it, all fans work also
 
Could be a driver issue. It could also mean a component is on it's way out. If you have any spare parts that can go into your computer, try swapping them out, in the attempt to find the problem.
