Do Xubuntu or Ubuntu recognize multi core processors? I was wondering if they would recognize both cores of an athlon x2 7750 kuma

Linux has been able to recognise multicore for years now so you should be fine

Yes, yes they do. As said, Linux has supported multi-CPU configurations for eons now; no tweaking needed, it's going to work straight out of the box.

All Linux distros I've tried on my sig rig have detected all 3 cores.
