X1000's... Whats the deal?

When is ATI going to release their full line of these X1000's, and more importantly, do you think that they will finally make a 512Mb card in 512-Bit both ways? Also, not seeing many crossfire motherboards around either. You guys think they'll release their full line for X-Mas?

There are corssfire boards, just the ULi 1573 or whatever southbridge is on short supply. The DFI board uses an ATI southbridge so its not out of supply, but the board is extremely buggy and both ATI and DFI have admited seomthings wrong with it.

just get a graphic card from nvidia, it is much better than ATI

I personally think they will, considering they are a little behind. Getting it out by then will push them ahead a bunch financially. I'll still stick with nVidia, just because I'm an nVidia fanboy. But the x1000's look amazing, especially the AGP support!
