x1650 radeon.. some reason my computer restarts randomly

Hi

check out the system i got in my sig.

Basically often when i play counter strike source and halo... either the game freezes on a graphic related issue but i dont know why.. im sure its my gfx card... basically ill be playing and itll either reset the game or reset the whole computer ... anyone know what could be happening?
 
your hardware should handle it... which OS are you running? I've had similar problems after installing Vista on a previously fine XP running computer with specs near those
 
im using xp pro.

this is the scenario

My computer ****s up 2 weeks ago before i get locked up... i get out and i fix it.. basically i reinstall windows.. burn all my music and files i wanna keep then delete the partition and create a new one fresh install of everything.. it all goes good.. only problem im having now is this problem but i dont know what it could be.

the ati radeon 1650x pro has a ccc program that u can set all the anti aliasing and everything but i didnt touch it... i get bsod once in a while too wondering what it could be
