I get low 3dmark score of 7800.

when i run 3dmark my core says its at 335 in the 3dmark details?? and memory says 0.0

what is with this? Also my 3dmark is only 7800 with a x1800xt

if i oc my mem to 800 it jumps to 8000

but what is with it saying its at 335? i heard of someone having issues like this before which gave him low 3dmark

I suspect 3DMark is reading the core speed in 2D mode. I don't know what the 2D speed is supposed to be but that sounds like it should be right, no one needs 500-600MHz in 2D.

The 3D Mark score sounds about right for that card.

well if i go buy reviews and what is on te web people with stock settings get around 9000

Is 3dmark5 cpu limited? am i cpu limited? if i bought a amd dual core cpu would that give me the 1000 points i am behind in?

intel cpu 3.6 ghz.. its intel so thats why i ask

Im hopping im just cpu limited for 3dmark. I did put in a 3.4ghz intel cpu and my score dropped about 200+ or so

i get like 2-5 fps on that other test and only a score of like 5000 or something around there

would have to do it again

Some guy with a amd dual core (lower end one) got 8600 so im only 600 points away from a higher end amd

oh and ram is 2gs of 533mhz dual core ddr2. they have better stuff out right now but i guess mines ok

ill upgrade it latter this year to the new stuff if i dont decide to go AMD

but then i will need new

CPU / mother board / mem and computer case

i think you mean dual channel?

in my opinion, 3dmark isnt all that important. if your game will play games fine, who cares about a number.
