Ok so I've had my Sapphire X1900XT 512mb at stock clocks 621/720 since Sept. It's got the stock cooler on it. Recently while playing games it's been artifacting, stretching, tearing and even started shutting my computer down while playing games. The temps are around 88-90C under load which is not that high from what I've seen around. I've tried underclocking it to 595/704 while I can go lower it's taking performance hits and still artifacting and tearing. I also have upped the fan speed to 75% and it's not helping all that much at all. I can't handle the noise from 100% lol.
Sooo.... should I get an aftermarket cooler or try to send it in for a warranty exchange? I tend to think the card is going bad. Any thoughts suggestions?
