X2 4400+ OC Round 2

So I been reading on overclocking a bit and I know now you gotta underclock your ram and what have you but the issue I have is I am suppose to have a HT that I should lower to x4 so I can OC my X2 4400+ to 2.6ghz stable.

The issue I have is I don't have such a option. I borrowed my sisters crappy camera though to make sure I see what I need.

I think I found what I needed but I don't like the idea of possibly breaking my rig.

First shot my BIOS options

Second here is my
Processor Frequency Multiplier

DDR2 Ram

Also I was curious what the hell is this? Seems like a auto overclocker.

Here is CPU-z screenshots

oops forgot to put what I was thinking.

If I put the multi to x10 vs its 11.5 then moved the FSB in inc of 5 till I got to 260 FSB that would be 2.6ghz correct? Would there be any problems with boot? I hear people get this chip to 2.8/3.0 without any voltage increases.

Issue I had last time was 11.5 x220 was around 2.6ghz ran all day but when turned off for 5 mins wouldn't boot up.

why 2.6ghz? you can't get it further than that?

my x2 3800+ overclocked to 2.6ghz just fine. you shouldn't need to lower your cpu multiplier unless your cpu really bottlenecks and you lack memory bandwidth.. which isn't really a performance factor with a dual core processor.

D.O.T. is your auto Dynamic Overclocking Technology.

Leave your X at stock. Set your HT to X4 and bump your memory back to 677. Then start raising your bus slowly a couple mhz at a time till it gets unstable then back off a few. If you want to go higher you will need to bump up your CPU voltage.

Another thing, in your motherboard section in CPUz it shows your PCIe running a X8 instead of X16. With a 570 nvidia chip and a 8800GT it should be running at X16.
