X38 vs X48

[Granite]

Hey guys building a new pc for my bro after christmas. I found a nice chipset (P5E Deluxe) and i was wandering how much better is the X48 cchipset against the X38 chipset? Any info would be great thanks guys!

if i remember right, the x48 mainly uses ddr3(there are a couple out there that use ddr2) the x38 mainly uses ddr2/ddr3, they're about even, if i had to pick, i would take the x48

Yea, I have the same thread about which motherboard to buy with the same motherboard. I'm not sure if I should get the P5E X38 or the P5E Deluxe X48. I heard that the Deluxe has problems with 1066 Mhz RAM so I still need help.
