Has x48 actually been released? I checked Newegg and theres a lot of x48's. Last week I didn't see Q9450 or any x48's and now I see them. Am I missing something? or did this all happen in a week?

Also whats the difference between x48 and x48T?

They can't do the same, they have different motherboards for either DDR2 or DDR3.

The X48 offers a native 1600 FSB. If you don't plan on buying the QX9770, you don't need to worry about that. In fact, there's really no true benefit to running the X48 (DDR3 support being the exception), besides saying you own one.

Yes it's possible, but you can't use both DDR2 and DDR3 at the same time.

With Gigabyte the X48T is the DDR3 and the X48 is the DDR2 board

No, it can run the QX9770.

That depends. If you want DDR3 memory, get the X48T. If you want DDR2, get the X48.

You can get DDR3 memory at speeds as high as 2000 MHz. There's plenty of good memory available, but it's very expensive, IMO.
