x700 pro or evga 6600gt?

what do you think would be the better buy for performance in these to cards? any other suggestions within the $200 price range would be helpfull too.

i am currently running a 9700 pro for comparison.

you could get the 6800GS, it's within $200 and is alot better than the 6600gt and the x700.

the 6600gt is a little faster then the x700pro mabye juss like a 2-4 fps diff in games

yea id say they perform about the same... but if you're willing get the 7800gs its for agp too (probably a little better than a 7800gt at stock frequency)

The 7800GT is somewhat better than the GS, but it's a little out of his budget. Of the two cards, i'd get the 6600GT, but if your budget will stretch the extra $25 the 6800GS is a much better card.
