x800 artifacting

hi, whenever i play any games eventually i will see graphical glitches/artifacts. this has only started to occur and seems to be getting worse. My video card is an x800gto and i have not overclocked it. can this be caused by overheating? it will play games normally for a while and eventually start artifacting which seems to me like a heat issue. heres a screenshot of an artifact im getting:



also when i tab to desktop, there are coloured pixels across the screen:

looks like overheating or lack of power

the card could be damaged from past overheating

try updating your drivers anyway
