Damn near no risk unless you're a complete dolt and get involved with BIOS hacks or voltage mods. Since its a softmod you can just undoHow would you go about doing this and how riskey is this.
Well if it doesnt work .. you um... undo it. Thats why its a softmod.I have read that sometime the extra pipes are dead pipes and if you enable them you can kill the whole card.
Actually, the pixel pipes, memory/core clock speeds and RAM type (DDR/GDDR3) are the only differences from x800SE to x850Pro, they all have 6 vertex shaders so you may be able to mod it to a much faster card if you're luckyX800SE
