I just finished installing an Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 onto my Gigabyte X800 XL.
Now whenever i turn the computer on, it wont boot and i get one long beep and two short ones, which is a video error.
I have tried reseating the card several times, and even reset CMOS just for the heck of it to no avail.
The only thing i can think of is that i may have damaged something when installing it? The stock cooler was very stubborn, this is the passively cooled version of this card and the stock cooler is a beast and didnt want to come off, but it did with some persuasion.
Any other thoughts?
Contact between the core and cooler should be fine, everything went together perfectly and it was only on for a couple seconds, and i didnt think a video card would fry that fast.
