X800GT vs 6600GT Extreme

Between the X800GT and the 6600GT Extreme, which would be the better card for gaming?
I've searched a bit and i get mixed results, so could somebody just give me an answer. BTW thes are the games i am playing:
Battlefield 2 (also 1942 and vietnam but these don't matter)
Farcry
Half Life 2 (when i get it)
Quake 4 when it comes out
UT 2007 when it comes out

and if we finally get good wireless internet, i'll also be playing

Well right now I have a 6600 GT, whats the difference between the GT and the Extreme? My friends all use the X800 and its one of the best cards ive ever played with. If there isnt a HUGE difference between the 6600Gt and the Extreme, I'd go for the X800
 
thats what i wanted to go with, and powercolor is suppose to have some special thing done to the X800GT to make it way better overclocking. so i'll have this oc'd a bit.
 
the x800 is the go but is it worth upgrading to sli for future games like ut 2007 apparently that has high requirements
 
well, from what i saw, it requires a 128mb gpu 2.4 ghz cpu 512mb ram as recommended which are what i go by for minimum because we all know minimum means lowest possible setting with almost unplayable framerates
