X800GTO vs 7600GS

I want to know: now just which one is better, but the reason. it seems to me that the GTO could have better performance, but the 7600GS has better graphics detail? the ones I have in mind are:

7600gs

X800GTO

and if there are any other sub-100$ cards that are better, feel free to post them.

yeah, i'm playing oblivian (the hardest hitting game out now, if you didn't know,) and my x800gto is perfect. may i inquire as to whether you are getting agp or pci-e though? because i can only expect a pci-e x800 to outperform the agp by a reasonable amount
 
I also recommend the X800GTO. Monkeysims has a 7600GS and he says its a good card, but spec wise, the X800 looks better.

Seeing as we have established that the X800 is better than the 7600 I will go ahead and hijack this. What video settings are you using lovely?? My X1900XT is slightly slightly choppy at times with lots of shadows. I want to make sure nothings wrong in case you have your settings up.

Actually, no. The difference between the two interfaces, especially on older cards, shows no difference in performance.
 
the 7600 is good.

havent tried anythign extravagant.
well, oblivion.
and the graphics are amazing.

yet, i have the 7900
