Xbox 360 remote for tuner

I got a tv tuner for my desktop, but it didn't come with a remote and running the media center in vista without a remote sucks. I was wondering if the Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote will work with the ATI Theater 650 PRO Combo Analog/Digital TV Tuner. I know ATI has the remote that I can buy from them, but I already have that remote. The remote does have a windows start logo button on it, and it seems I have read some it will work with XP Media Center. Any ideas!!!!
 
just install the @home ir reciever driver and see if the remote works.

if it doesn't, then you already have the drivers installed for the real one
