Xbox 360

My neighbour wants it too but he can't find it anywhere here either, there's a limited amount of XBOX 360s in Europe because of the overheating and freezing problem MS is trying to fix.
 
I heard that they beamed down aliens to sit on them which lead to overheating issues.

Don't believe everything you hear ;).

Ya, thats a common mistake about people buying the xbox 360..they all think the majority of the 360's made have this problem, thats shows you what the media can make of it. Aside from that mircrosoft ships weekly supplies to retail stores all over the world. So, it either comes down to being lucky or wait until noone really cares about them that much anymore..which will be in about 2 months.
 
its kinad funnny cause the day i made this thread saturday morning and saturday at 4ish my cousin called and told me that he got me one.
 
HAHA nice. In my opinionwhen first released they can be a waste of money. I mean my friend got his the day of release paid for the consol. And as games are £50 each he bought 4 or 5 thats £250 then new controler anouther £20. So he spent like almost £500 on it already and its been out all of like a month or 2. Imthinking of preordering a PS3 then selling it on EBAY. That will make me like atleast £100 im sure. Then well wait till they have fault free models (asumingit does come outwith faults). Then thatmeans I can pray on people like you who are desperate for one hehe.
 
Ive played my friends 360, and ill have to say its amazing. Im a diehard PS2/PS3 fan, but it is amazing. Perfect Dark Zero is great! (Co-Op online fun :D)

Well single player is soooo mcuh better (graphics atleast) And well I havnt got online yet because BT messed my friend round when he moved house and were 2 months or more late getting broadband installed in his house (uprgrading his line) So well he changed provider, and he got it installed today (wont see him for afew weeks) I mean WOW and Online Xbox360 lol.

Also perfect dark I dont like it but love cos I always die :( cant aim I need a mouse. But when I kill its great hehe, laptop gun and grenades do the killing for me. Ohh and when I play someone worse than me its fun because Ialways win.

i shuld have it soon. by fridayish. i cant wait. im getting call of duty, nfsmw,and i dont know whether or not to get madden or perefect dark zero. i know perfect dark zerio is better but me and all my friends love to get 2gether and play it.

o and if my friend has madden on xbox can i play him in madden on my 360?

Ya...about my last comment, waiting 2 months to get it. I went to bestbuy today like every saturday, and i went over to the games section for the hell of it...they had about 4 xbox 360's so we picked up one. We bought Quake 4 and so far it seems pretty good. I guess i was lucky in getting one...waited about 1 sec compared to people that waited 18 hours :)

haha yea its all about timing.
 
well i see no point in getting a xbox 360..as they almost have the same games as the PC but its cheaper on the PC..y would i pay $60 for Q4 when i can get Q4 special edition for $40...same with COD2...also MS might have it so people on the PC can play w/ ppl on the 360...and to me thats unfair for the 360 owners. mouse and keyboard is way better than a controller(at some games) and the 360 owners would be paying more for the game. also dont you pay for xbox live? if you do then that sux even more, as your paying for the internet also.
i might get the PS3 b/c usually the games arent on for PC also and i have a PSP so ya.. also might get the revolution if its cheap. have you seen its controller?!?1:eek: it's so kool!

nobody said u needed to see a point in getting it. and the ps3 is gonna suck becuase its controllers can double as a boomerang. and the revolution, u like those controllers?

Hey I would say, multi functionality should add to the price. Your not just getting a controle but you can also have a boomerang o throw aswell :D. I mean if you get pissed off with a mate throw it at him, nock him out it comes back then you can kill him in the game :P.
