I noticed that the XBOX has an ethernet connection, can I connect it to my PC and play multiplayer games like Halo through Lan?

i dont think you can play halo on xbox and halo on pc at the same time. The ethernet port is for xbox live or networking 2 xbox's

you cant play with the pc version of halo against the xbox version.
you cant however download xboxconnect ( www.xbconnect.com ), and play multiplayer with your xbox
