Hi guys

Quick question, I want to buy an X360 controller (wired) for PC gaming, driving games mostly.

I am on a strict budget so was looking at the controllers on eBay, they are not 'official', is it worth picking one up, does anyone have one? Or should I go official.


Also what is the support like for the controller, I will mostly be using it for games such as NFS Underground 2 up to Most wanted (latest)

i use mine for racing games and it's good, but it's the official one so when i plugged it in it automatically down'd the drivers, idk if others will do that.
 
Go for the official one, it's well built and sturdy and all the rest of it. I can't guarantee what the counterfeit controllers are like. Drivers are also pretty good and only take a second or two to install. It's worth the money.

I have one and I play NFS games with it. Underground 2 does sort of work with the controller from memory, but you need to re-map a lot of the buttons and I remember the steering being a bit whacky, same with the original Most Wanted. I imagine Carbon probably works a lot better with it as do the later titles. I have Hot Pursuit (2010) and it works perfectly with the controller straight out of the box, so I imagine the new Most Wanted would too.

If you like I could maybe installed Underground 2 on my old PC and see how it works with the controller for you? So long as U2 works with Windows 7.
 
Go for the official one, i bought the batman one cause it was cheap and the connection went within a few weeks and broke. Ive got the official one now and now problems so far!
