I need a new PSU, and I was about to buy this via the recommended link in the PSU 101 thread, but when I went to newegg, a lot of people said it died/had bad support...I need at least a 450 watt PSU with ~24A on the 12v railing...I'm looking in the $30-$40 price range. It would be very appreciated if someone could recommend a good power supply, thanks

hmm, i actually may have found a better one..
500W $29.99 (with $10 rebate >_>) comes with every connector and [16 + 18]A on 12volt

The XClio is much, much, better. IMO, it's your best choice in that pricerange. I wouldn't put much stock in newegg reviews.

oh, too late >_>..i didn't really go with this one because of the reviews, but more because of the specs...i compared the spec sheets side by side and the 500W one had better ones...also, it had free 3-day shipping and cost $29.99 (after rebate), the xClio had a less amount of watts, and fewer 12v amperes. so basically, i felt like paying $15 for it. ($8 shipping for xclio.) also, this deal ended today and i'm an impulse shopper =3.
