XFX is kind of overpriced, but if you're willing to drop the cash on it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. If your PSU can handle it though, try looking into the 4870, they're only marginally more expensive than the fancy brand name 4850's, so get a more base-line 4870 if you find a deal.

I have an Antec 500W but the thing is I play games at 1680/1050 an not higher, I also have a 4830 and I am planning to buy a CF mobo and run them together. I also have a E5200 @ 3GHz and I think it would bottleneck the GPU, 4850 would do me fine I don't play Crysis etc, just COD4, GRID, Fifa09 and rF 2 when it comes out.

Save they money and get another 4830 if you go crossfire, as the 4850 will just drop to the specs of the 4830..

Yeah go for the 4850 and maybe you can save up and buy a second one to replace the 4830 eventually.
No there not,I just purchased a XFX 4890...it was £130....other brands for the same card are £170-190.

I used have a 4850 but it was Sapphire and it overheated because of its clumsy one slot cooler. I hope that XFX's double will do a better job....I already have 4 fans(120mm) and Antec 300 so airflow is allright.

Yeah, a singleslot cooler on a 4850 wouldnt work out that great i would imagine.
