what's your exact budget? I'd suggest adding another say 20 bucks and getting the 6800GS, much better.

The 6600GT would be the better one of those two (I think), but you could add a bit of cash and get a better one, just like suggested by liuliuboy. Usually the GF6800XT is outperformed by a GF6600GT.
