The very elusive and already extensively delayed GeForce 9800 GT has made a shy appearance @ Computex at ELSA's booth and now, it has been spotted in a new gaming PC from a Chinese company. Pictured below, the card is manufactured by XFX and it apparently features the same GPU, shader and memory clocks as its predecessor, the 8800 GT - 600, 1500 and 1800 MHz respectively.
Unlike ELSA's offer, the XFX GeForce 9800 GT has a single-slot cooling solution that is considerably smaller than that found on the 8800 GT which suggest that the former will be powered by a 55nm G92b chip (with 112 Stream Processors). The 512MB GDDR3-equipped card also features SLI support and requires extra power via one 6-pin connector. No word on an actual release date or price tag unfortunately. Good thing we have that Radeon HD 4850 right?
